About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced marine engineering personal tutor to join our winning team. You will deliver innovative and high quality teaching and learning to our Marine Engineering apprenticeship learners.

Using your successful marine engineering career, along with your passion for learning and development, you will inspire, guide and coach your learners to develop their knowledge, skills and future ability to succeed in their learning program with us.

Our innovative learner management system and the latest technology will guide your learners through their learning journey to drive progress forward.

Please note that due to the nature of this role, a driver’s license is required.

What we need from you:

= Significant work experience in a marine engineering environment

= Previous experience delivering Marine Engineering qualifications to learners on a one-to-one, distance and group sessions basis

= Knowledge of learning and work-based learning

= Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

= Computer literate, with the ability to easily adapt to new systems

= Self-motivated and ability to influence and motivate learners

= Qualification of assessors

= Relevant technical certificates

= Minimum of level 2 in Mathematics and English Functional Skills
