Zhejiang University New Hundred Talents Program

The new “New Hundred Talents” program aims to attract outstanding scholars both at home and abroad. For those recruited through this program, the university must adopt an international academic standard and procedure — the tenure track system.

  4. Applicant must work full-time at ZJU.

Remuneration:

  1. ZJU will provide competitive compensation, including housing allowance.
  2. ZJU will provide the position of young professor ZJU100, qualified to supervise doctoral students.
  3. Those eligible for the talent program can rent a professor’s apartment while employed, and after being tenured, they have the option to apply for the purchase of a designated apartment for those with “talent” status.
  4. Once the application is approved, a research fund will be provided by ZJU, the particular amount of which is to be determined depending on the discipline.
  5. ZJU will provide one-time relocation expenses and actively recommend and assist qualified teachers to apply for youth talent programs or projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels.
